Are my reviews becoming redundant? Gosh, I hope not. My hope is that they inspire you to support, if not the Denver music scene, then your own local artists and entertainers. All of these bands work normal 8-5 day jobs (in some cases more than one job), and do this because they love the music.

Have I said how much I hate it when people show up to a venue and then act like they're having a horrible time????? WE DON"T WANT THAT NEGATIVE ENERGY IN THE ROOM SO IF YOU'RE NOT GOING TO ENJOY YOURSELF, STAY HOME.....

So, I would like to start out by thanking everyone who braved the snow storm and showed up. You made it worthwhile. I had tons of fun. I came upon a new band called The Bad Directions. They are an interesting combination of Green Day and early Johnny Cash, it was said. I was also told they were pretty good......(I was too late and caught their last song)

On to the part of the show I was fortunate enough to arrive alive for.........FONG JONES and STRANGE CONDITION>>>>>>>

The Fong Jones crew F)(*&@# ROCKS!!!! Their shows are so much fun. Especially when Derrick almost gets pushed off the stage, or the mic stand almost falls on my head, or the shots that were purchased for the WHOLE BAND somehow disappear before everyone but one person gets to them =+) I love hanging out and listening to them play. They are such an awesome group. We partied, we drank, we rocked out with Fong Jones. We watched them party and rock and play. There were only 4 people on the dance floor. I don't understand. Their music is great! Oh well, their loss!

Strange Condition took the stage about 11. They're wonderful. They're talented. They're worthy of a thesaurus. I forgot to bring mine with me. I can't write enough good things about these two bands. I want to see them sign contracts and play bigger shows. I want them to get radio play and TV spots. I want to see them GET SOME!!!!

I'll see you all at the show on Valentine's Day,right?????
