A Friday Farewell

...and A Monday Update.

Ryan’s final show with Strange Condition was a wonderful send-off. It was a good last minute crowd! Thanks to all of the local bands who showed up – Carolyn’s Mother, Tequila Mockingbird, Rubber Planet… I am sure there were more, but I have not met or seen every band in town yet. I am looking forward to expanding my horizons. Nonetheless, the show was a lot of fun.

Speaking of expanding my horizons, Friday was the first time I have heard RELEASE play. WOW! Excellent cover of Rocket Man! I am eager to see these guys play again soon.

The Niki Jenewein Project is playing an acoustic set at Old Chicago at 14th and Market on Saturday, March 27. Show starts at nine. Cover is $2.

The Zen Barons are playing The Toad Tavern on Friday, April 2.

The Fong Jones Band will be at Herman's Hideaway on Friday, April 23 with Rexway and Carolyn's Mother. That will be a great show!

The Punisher movie soundtrack will be released March 23.
